Cops Use Carbon Drive Bikes to Sneak up on Perps
Add crime fighting to the list of Carbon Drive benefits. The Denver Police Department is street-testing a bike equipped with Carbon Drive. Denver TV station Channel 4 aired a report on the new bike and says the quiet Carbon Drive System will allow cops to sneak up on bad guys. Check out the story. Gates and Spot Brand bikes donated the belt-drive bike to Sergeant Grady Carter of the Denver Police Department so that he and other bike patrol officers can use it on their rounds and provide feedback to Gates engineers.
