No place does mud quite like Seattle, and Sunday’s Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships exemplify why the city is a hotbed of down and dirty CX action. The rain fell in sheets, turning the course into a quagmire. Our man Mitch Westall nevertheless powered to a third place finish, with all five riders placing near the top of the field of 150 riders.
